Evolving through Motherhood: Afternoon Retreat
Sunday, October 20th 2024 12:30pm-3pm at The Village South Jersey
Join us for "Evolving Through Motherhood: Empower Your Journey," a transformative workshop exploring the profound journey of becoming a mother. We will learn about Matrescense, which is defined as the physical, psychological and emotional changes that one goes through when becoming a mother. This workshop will allow you the time and space to reflect on your unique journey into motherhood, honoring it as a significant phase of personal growth and identity evolution.
Through a blend of introspective exercises, guided discussions, light yoga asana and meditation, we will connect to our bodies, quiet our minds and explore our authentic selves in our roles as mothers. In this supportive and nurturing environment, participants will have the opportunity to connect with other women, share experiences, and reflect on the multifaceted aspects of motherhood.
Mothers at all stages of postpartum are welcome to join. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing as we will engage in a light yoga practice. The practice will be postpartum friendly, but new mothers must ensure that your doctor has cleared you for exercise prior to attendance. Please bring a notebook, pen and yoga mat.
